CINERGIZE FITNESS CLASSES

See below for our specially-designed fitness classes for active adults who want to improve flexibility, coordination and balance

Stretch-Balance

STRETCH & BALANCE exercises are important to active adults who are looking to reduce the risk of falling as well as improving your agility, posture and flexibility.

To help strengthen these aspects of fitness, each of our STRETCH & BALANCE classes include a combination of extension stretches and standing exercises. We use a chair sometimes and other tools that provide variety and fun!

STRETCH & BALANCE classes are taught by Cinnie Noble. Cinnie is a former social worker and lawyer and when she’s not helping people find their way through conflict as an executive coach and mediator in her “day job” (www.cinergycoaching.com) Cinnie teaches these popular classes that help people find their way to improved fitness.

More on Cinnie can be found at About Me

STRETCH-BALANCE

Taught by Cinnie Noble these classes are – at their very essence – where movement intersects with exercises that specifically aim to strengthen balance, agility, mobility, posture, gait and flexibility. As with all our classes there is a strong sense of community and intention to support each other as we take care of ourselves and share health-building exercise with others.
Three classes a week are taught on-line Sundays – 10:00-10:45 a.m.; Tuesdays 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; and Thursdays 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. (Eastern Time Zone/Canada)

What people are saying about Cinnie's Classes:

Cinnie has been a huge gift to me. I have participated in her classes for over a year and my mobility (sciatica) has improved greatly. She offers a 45 minute program, that is never the same, and I feel so much better after participating. It is a joy to be part of this group!

Margaret S.

Cinnie’s Stretch-Balance got me through Covid. When I feel stronger, physically and mentally, I know that these classes work for me. I’d call it ‘stretch/balance for the whole human being’!

Pat R.

The Stretch-Balance classes are the best! Among other things they make me more aware of my body and its limitations as I get older. I now think before I try a crazy maneuver i.e. can I reach this or are my feet well balanced.

Janice L.

Cinnie’s Stretch-Balance classes were a life saver for me during the pandemic, and they continue to be so. The camaraderie of the group as we log in is a definite bonus! Cinnie’s personality and excellent instructions shine through, even in the online format.

Denise S.

I have been a regular participant since Cinnie began teaching in a Toronto studio, and have continued to do the classes on-line when Covid hit us. Cinnie’s knowledge and skill is perfectly complimented by her engaging, gentle and affirming leadership style.

Ann W.

This class has done so much to improve my muscle strength and balance. When I had an acute knee problem I was told that by my physiotherapist -treating me for a knee issue – if not for my stretch and balance training I would not have made the progress required. Cinnie has also developed a community of participants that take the lead from her caring and supportive nature.

Lynne S.

I love that no class is ever the same – and I am constantly amazed at how much planning Cinnie puts into her classes to make them interesting, fun and focused on what we all are striving to strengthen with success.

Barb R.

Cinnie is so delightful and motivating and through her classes I have gained strength, become more flexible, and increased my balance. Her workouts are always different, whether they be standing, sitting on chairs, using sticks or cups and I can’t wait for each session.

Naomi K.

As a minority (octogenarian male) participant in Cinnie’s Stretch and Balance Classes I wondered if I might feel uncomfortable with the content level and focus of the sessions. My reservations were dispelled as my breathing, flexibility and ability to counteract falling gradually improved and I gained greater confidence in my bones. Cinnie’s engaging and nurturing approach encourages me to test myself in ways I would never attempt on my own.

DANCE-FIT includes two classes: WORLD GROOVES FROM THE HEART AND CHAKRA-BOOGIE

These two fun-filled, energetic, dynamic classes are taught by CINERGIZE FITNESS team member Paulina Carey- an international performer and instructor who truly dances from the heart.

This class is taught on-line on Wednesdays, 10:00-10:45 a.m. (Eastern Time/Canada)

CHAKRA-BOOGIE:

Dance with Paulina into a state of bliss with this easy to follow endorphin boosting JOY practice. A potent fusion of mind/ body connectivity & play. This heart opening chakra balancing movement meditation will leave you feeling joyful and grounded.

This class is taught on-line on Fridays, 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. EASTERN TIME

What people are saying about Paulina's World Grooves From The Heart:

I’ll admit—as someone with no dance background whatsoever, the thought of a dance-fit class made me nervous. But something about hitting the dance floor (aka my bedroom), sounded like too much fun to pass up, so I put on my dancing shoes. Paulina is so energizing and enthusiastic! She adds humour, mindful energy and sometimes costumes to the routines. The music is always great and the sessions go by so fast! My mind is so focused on getting the moves right, that I forget I’m exercising!

Naomi K.

This dance class is a great way to exercise with an excellent, fun-loving instructor.

Susan H.

This class is so much fun and provides a great aerobic workout! Paulina repeats many of her basic movements and choreographs them to various musical requests, which makes it easier to follow. Her energy is contagious and we all feel strong connections as we keep our bodies moving and our hearts open. Those that participate really care about each other, and amazes me how people who have never met can form such close connections. I look forward to this class every week and would highly recommend it.

Adele W.

What people are saying about Paulina's Chakra Boogie:

If you want to shake your bootie and have fun while you are at it, join the Chakra-Boogie class! Paulina is a professional dancer and makes exercising a happy dance experience. I love it!

Adria T.

This class is a great compliment to World Grooves from the Heart. It is less physically demanding and incorporates many Qi-Gong principles. On occasion following Paulina’s directions I have been able to release pent up emotions that I needed to let go. This class has been invaluable in opening up each chakra and aiding in stress relief. I highly recommend this class.
